In a video for the fashion brand Christian Dior, Geri Halliwell has chosen to use her maiden name, a few months after allegations of inappropriate behavior were leveled against her husband, Christian Horner.
In February, a complaint lodged by a female employee of Red Bull against team principal Christian Horner was dismissed. Despite the allegations, which he has consistently denied, Horner remained in his position after being exonerated.
The female employee, who was suspended from her duties, contested the decision to absolve Horner by appealing to Red Bull GmbH, the Austrian parent company of the Formula One team.
In the brief video, the Spice Girl introduces herself, stating “’C’est moi Geri, Geri Halliwell,” which translates to “It’s me, Geri, Geri Halliwell”.
The 51-year-old singer then proceeds to tour the Dior In Scotland exhibition at Drummond Castle in Perthshire, where she examines their 2025 Cruise collection, inspired by Mary, Queen of Scots.
In March, while discussing the complaint, Horner described the investigation as a “very trying period” for him and his family, including his wife. He expressed gratitude for the phenomenal support from his wife and family, but emphasized the need to move forward and concentrate on their objectives, citing the intrusion on his family as sufficient.
Halliwell has yet to make a public statement regarding the controversy.
In 2015, Halliwell tied the knot with the F1 boss in a grand ceremony at Woburn Abbey, attended by guests such as Emma Bunton, Amanda Holden, Myleene Klass, Jennifer Saunders, and Dawn French.
Horner and Halliwell are parents to a seven-year-old son, Monty. Halliwell also has an 18-year-old daughter, Bluebell, from her relationship with screenwriter Sacha Gervasi.
